Green Mountain Academy for Lifelong Learning (GMALL) welcomes arts educator Stacy Gates to lead this craft workshop. Alcohol inks are so much fun to make art with. They are also great for both beginners and more advanced artists to use. We first place drops of ink, blow it around our surface, add rubbing alcohol to blur and allow the ink to bloom. In this class, participants will learn how to create a landscape using these inks. We will practice a variety of techniques on a ceramic tile and then create a wonderfully colorful, dreamy landscape on special Yupo paper. At the end of the class, you will receive an 8 x 10 inch mat for framing your artwork. This class is messy. Gloves and aprons will be provided, but please wear clothes that would be okay to get stained. The $40 registration fee includes all materials. For more information or to register, please call 802-867-0111 or visit our website at www.greenmtnacademy.org.
