The Works Café got its start right here in Manchester, Vermont. The year was 1988 and we served delicious, traditional bagels and other healthy foods sourced locally. Welcome to Zoey’s! We are a family owned and operated restaurant, opened in August 1991 in the heart of beautiful Manchester, Vermont. The opening concept was incredibly simple: prepare our food with the finest ingredients available, and we do. We are proud to say we make our own cookies and bread and offer absolutely the most delicious soup and custom made sandwiches anywhere, all here in our open kitchen.

We are also known for our bright and cheerful, eclectic décor featuring roosters, fire hydrants, clocks, and a rotating array of ever-interesting items.
