Whether it’s the vintage gas pump or the beckoning bear that catch your eye, Above All Vermont is Manchester’s answer to an old-fashioned country store. A wandering collection of old-timey fixtures and antique display cases offer up thousands of handcrafted, quirky, and delicious goods. There’s a “syrup” section, a cheese collection, a kid’s corner, an apothecary (love the bath blasters and all-natural soaps!) plus, penny candy, memorabilia, jewelry, pottery, and more. Completely fun, incredible quality, and staff who love their subject.

Mother Myrick’s has been keeping Manchester sweet since 1977. Their famous candies and cakes and fun events bring locals and visitors together! Whether it’s their annual Summer Reading Program, their monthly Buttercrunch giveaway, or their Easter Egg Decorating Contest, a trip to the Mother Myrick’s brings out the kid in all of us.

The retail store, on Main Street, is open every day. Imagine the aroma of just-baked pies, sample the beloved Lemon LuLu Cake, and try a bite of Ron’s signature buttercrunch with its crisp toffee center, dipped in chocolate and rolled in fine almonds and cashews. Made with Vermont’s own Cabot Creamery butter, judged “Best in Class” at the World Championship competition in Wisconsin, the Buttercrunch is worth the trip alone!

“Smugglers’ Notch Distillery is a small batch craft distillery in Jeffersonville Vermont. We have 8 award-winning spirits and a changing array of limited edition spirits. Founded by our father/son owners Ron and Jeremy Elliott who look to bring some of the finest distilled and blended taste profiles in a range of spirit types to our guests. From Vodka to Bourbon we look to create products that delight the senses and leave a lasting impression.
