SVMC Northshire Campus has achieved recognition for providing personalized, effective, and efficient primary care required as a part of its designation as Patient Centered Medical Homes by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). Patients may access several services not often available in doctor’s offices, including behavioral health services, diabetes education, and nutrition counseling, among others.

“We know that Northshire residents are busy people who are deeply engaged in their families and communities,” Schwartz said. “For many patients—especially those receiving pediatrics, family medicine or physical therapy—this change could cut travel time by 30 minutes or more each way.
