One of the things we love best about our little town is that we’re within driving distance of both New York City and Boston, but still a world away.
Just hours from departure, billboards disappear, highways dwindle to two-lane roads, and the landscape begins to rise.
Nestled between the Green Mountains to the east and the Taconic Range to the west, Manchester offers spectacular scenery, cultural pursuits, and recreational opportunities unique to each of the four seasons.
Ski nearby, golf in town, fish the world-famous Batten Kill, and revel in the beauty of Vermont’s “best foliage.” Travel tips and route directions below include customizable map links so you can plan your trip!
