The store is located in the Lincoln’s renovated carriage barn and offers 1500 square feet of inspired shopping. Shoppers find something for everyone, including gifts, accessories, books, games, jewelry, and Hildene Farm’s own line of estate products (from honey to cheese, yarns to soaps, and a full range of seasonal native pollinator perennials). The word “Sabi” comes from the Japanese philosophy Wabi-Sabi which loosely translates to “things whose beauty is derived from simplicity and imperfection”. Wabi-Sabi celebrates age, quality (over quantity), imperfection, and the natural world. Sabi is a modern homewares shop and apothecary located in Manchester Center, Vermont. Shop owners Ramiro Garay and Serena Jenkins created Sabi out of an appreciation of cool, quality products and a desire to bring them to their community in Vermont.
