Green Mountain Academy for Lifelong Learning (GMALL) is proud to present a new program series this summer – “Vermont Conversations: Imagining Our Future”. This series intends to spark civil discourse as we delve into topics crucial to our state and envision a viable future together. The topics this year in the four-part series include healthcare, business, education, and drug addiction as it relates to crime.
The first in the series is “Healthcare in Vermont” moderated by Kathleen Fisher, Chair of the Board of Trustees at Southwestern Vermont Health Care. The healthcare industry in the U.S. is undergoing significant change. This panel discussion will examine the issues specific to Vermont and, most importantly, what is being done to improve population health in our area. Panelists are:
• Tom Dee, President and CEO of Southwestern Vermont Health Care
• Lorna Mattern, Executive Director, United Counseling Service
• Keith Michl, MD FACP Internal Medicine
The series is sponsored by The Keelan Family Foundation. Registration is $70 for the four-part series, or $22 per program. For more information or to register, please call our office at 802-867-0111 or visit greenmtnacademy.org.
