Who is NeverTechLate?
NeverTechLate is a company whose goal is to develop Initiatives to introduce technology skills, lifelong learning and increased social engagement opportunities. The NeverTechLate concept started with a few observations:
⮚
The knowledge of technology has become crucial to get access to services, especially health and administrative, and, as importantly, to people.
Longevity is a challenge but also an opportunity; science has actually confirmed that our brains can keep on learning and will feel good about this activity!
Having the ability to communicate with loved ones, and develop these
relationships that are so meaningful to us is the best medicine.
In connection with experts in education and tech teaching at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, NeverTechLate has developed an 8 lesson 75-minutes session curriculum where you will first be introduced to the world (and words!) of technology as well as how to use a tablet. Toward the middle of the program, you will be introduced to Zoom, a video conferencing tool which will allow you to call and see old and new friends and/or family members, attend classes, talks etc…
Who is Bringing NeverTechLate to You?
The Manchester Community Library is offering this program for the third time. Students will meet at the Manchester Community Library’s Lower Level Gallery.
