Egg Decorating Contest to Benefit Our Local Food Cupboard
Our local Food Cupboard is the designated local non-profit organization to receive
donations from entries in Mother Myrick’s Confectionery’s Annual Easter Egg Decorating Contest. This
contest is the perfect project for the whole family!
All ages can decorate a hollowed-out egg in any way you wish. Please – one egg per entry. Compete
for great prizes (though everyone gets a chocolate bunny just for bringing in an entry). The Grand Prize is
our HUGE hand-decorated “Annabelle” chocolate bunny filled with Jelly Beans, Easter candy, and other
surprises. She’s like a giant chocolate pinata!! ($250.00 value). Additional prizes of chocolate bunnies &
more will be awarded to each age category winner.
The Egg Decorating Contest started 40 years ago to benefit various local non-profit organizations. It also
encourages families to decorate Easter eggs together as a fun activity. With prizes of solid chocolate
Easter Bunnies, the contest has always been a popular local event.
Help a great cause and have fun, too. A suggested donation of $5.00 (or more) per entry would be
welcome. Entries are due in no later than March 24th.
Mother Myrick’s Confectionery makes artisan chocolates, cakes, and desserts in Manchester, Center.
