Masterclasses allow the audience to experience firsthand how chamber music is refined and brought to a whole new level. Guest violinist Eugene Drucker, who will also be performing in Taconic Music’s concert on July 13, will work with the Young Artists from our Chamber Music Intensive, offering insights on interpretation and style.
Eugene Drucker, a founding member of the multiple Grammy Award-winning Emerson String Quartet, has also appeared as a soloist with the orchestras of Montreal, Brussels, Antwerp, Liège, Hartford, Richmond, Louisville, and Jerusalem, as well as with the American Symphony Orchestra, the Aspen Chamber Symphony and the Las Vegas Philharmonic. He is a graduate of Columbia University and the Juilliard School. Eugene has recorded the complete unaccompanied works of Bach, reissued by Parnassus Records, and the complete sonatas and duos of Bartók for Biddulph Recordings.
