Ellenbogen Gallery is excited to share with you the opportunity to join us for Joseph Phelps: Excellence. Curated. This very special event will take place in our beautiful space, surrounded by art and at The Copper Grouse on Saturday, May 18, 2024.

Celebrate the wines and history of Joseph Phelps Vineyards, one of the first American winemakers to see the merit in blending. Joseph Phelps proved this when he debuted California’s first proprietary red Bordeaux-style blend, ‘Insignia’ in 1974, firmly positioning the winery as a premier Napa Valley producer.

Later in the day, Nicolas Houlbert, a seasoned executive chef with over 30 years of experience who has helped several restaurants achieve their Michelin stars (Ze Kitchen Galerie and Mavrommatis in Paris) and spent 8 years with acclaimed chef and restaurateur Daniel Boulud at both Bar Boulud and Epicerie Boulud, presents his six-course pairing menu prepared around the wines of Joseph Phelps Vineyards.
