Madan Sara: A Film Screening with Grace Initiative Global

February 17 @ 2:00pm-4:00pm

Join Grace Initiative Global on Saturday, February 17th at 2 pm to be immersed in the world of this marginalized group of Haitian women who carry Haiti’s economy on their backs. The film speaks directly to the Madan Sara women on their home soil, where they struggle to bolster an economy that gives them very little recognition or support in return. Filmmaker Etant Dupain follows the stories of several women whose hands shape Haitian lives every day, making connections between their way of life and the universal impacts of global policies, government corruption, and the lens of modern media through which we view the world. Learn more about the film here.

Grace Initiative Global is a nonprofit organization that works toward inclusivity, reconciliation, the promotion of agriculture, and coexistence.
