Green Mountain Academy for Lifelong Learning (GMALL) welcomes arts educator Stacy Gates to lead this needle felting workshop. Enjoy the look of nature’s beautiful desert plants without the prickles. In this beginner friendly felting workshop, you will learn how to make a solid 3D sculpture entirely from wool fibers. We will use a special barbed needle to felt our projects, learn how to add dimension to the basic shape of your cacti and add colored fibers to make a cacti bloom. After felting, we will plant our cacti in a small terracotta pot and add decorative rocks. The $40 registration fee includes all materials.
