Bursting with song, dance and more than a few martinis, A TIME TO BE BORN celebrates love and ambition in glamorous 1940’s Manhattan – a city ruled by media moguls and scheming socialites – on the eve of America’s entry into World War II. Opportunistic celebrity journalist Amanda welcomes hapless Vicky to NY, to conceal an illicit affair –never dreaming that her naïve friend might become her rival. As America tiptoes closer to war, it is a time to reinvent ones’ self, a time to risk everything… It is A Time to Be Born.
