Enjoy a storied stay at the Wickham House, a postcard-perfect mansion located in the heart of Manchester Village. The house is designated historic by the Manchester Historical Society, within the Manchester Village Historic District, which was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984. The Wickham House was originally built in 1790 as a tavern and inn by Captain Peter Black. The inn was later purchased in 1837 by Rev. Dr. Joseph Wickham, legendary headmaster of Burr and Burton Academy. This is a four-bedroom house, which comfortably sleeps up to eight people.

In the mid-1800s, the mother-in-law suite (Novel House) was added to the original Wickham House to accommodate larger families which visited the elegant summer enclave. The home was recently renovated to meet the needs of a modern family, including main floor living, an open kitchen, luxury bathrooms with radiant-heated floors & an en-suite sleeping porch. This is a two-bedroom home, which sleeps up to four adults.
