Stratton was established in 1961 and expanded rapidly into one of Vermont’s largest ski areas. Stratton sits at 3,875 feet and offers a beautiful view of the Green Mountains. Its ski area covers 670 acres and includes 99 ski trails for the enjoyment of skiers and snowboarders of all levels. One of the most powerful snowmaking systems in Southern Vermont, Stratton has snow guns on 95% of the mountain allowing us to offer impeccable snow conditions. Stratton also ranks highly for snow, grooming, lifts, terrain parks, service, lodging, dining, on-mountain food, après, and nightlife.
In the summer you’ll find no shortage of fun with activities, events, and views that span as big as the Green Mountain horizon. From Stratton’s 10+ mile downhill Bike Park to Scenic Lift Rides in the gondola ascending to 3875ft in elevation. Take a UTV Mountain Tour, pose in Mountain Top Yoga at the summit deck, serve it up on the tennis and pickleball courts, or kick it back for Fourth of July Fireworks and live music.
