Thrift Shop
For savvy shoppers looking to update their wardrobe or home on a budget the Thrift Shop located at the Manchester office of the VNA & Hospice of the Southwest Region (formerly Manchester Health Services) located at 5468 Main Street Manchester Center, VT is filled with treasures waiting to be discovered. Run by volunteers and stocked with quality donated items, all proceeds from the Thrift Shop support compassionate home health and hospice services for the communities we serve in Bennington, Franklin and Rutland Counties.
Donating Items
The shop accepts donations of clothing, linens, furniture, housewares, antiques, collectibles, books, jewelry and more. Donated clothing and linens should be clean and stain-free. Furniture donations require approval before dropping off. Donations can only be accepted during Thrift Shop hours.
Please DO NOT leave donations on the porch. Donations left outside invite theft and can be hazardous to our staff and volunteers.
For more information, please contact the shop directly at 802.362.6545.
Volunteering
Do you like shopping and discovering treasures? If you have a few free hours and like working in a retail setting, consider volunteering at the Thrift Shop.
Volunteers are needed Monday – Friday with flexible shifts available. Thrift Shop volunteers assist with arranging merchandise, assisting customers, processing donations and running the cash register.
If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Gina Grove, gina.grove@vnahsr.org.
