Readsboro glass artists Mary Angus and Bill LeQuier will host their 36th annual Holiday Open Studio Sale on two weekends, December 14-15 and December 21-22, from 10 AM to 5 PM. Visitors are invited to the studio to see Angus and LeQuier’s beautiful hand blown glass, enjoy a cup of hot mulled cider and join the artists in celebrating the holiday season and 36 years of creating glass art in their Readsboro studio. Angus and LeQuier will have a unique collection of hand blown glass for sale, including perfume bottles and ring holders, bud vases in translucent jewel tones, and colorful handmade glass candy cane and icicle ornaments. Also available are glass snowflakes ornaments, intricately sandblast-carved in clear glass. Readsboro Glassworks is located at 6954 Main Street, Route 100, (lower level) in Readsboro, Vermont. Dec. 17-Jan. 2, 3 Pears Gallery will be at the Holiday Pop Up location at the base of Stratton Village. Stratton Magazine is proud to present The Pop Shop, a new retail space located in the Stratton Mountain Resort Village. There will be an all-you-can-eat breakfast at the firehouse on 6041 Main Street in Manchester on Sunday, December 22, from 7 to 11 am. Enjoy pancakes, maple syrup, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, home fries, English muffins, orange juice and coffee at $8 per person. This months sponsors are Tyler Electric, Northshire Bookstore.

December 22 This whimsical holiday train will leave r.k. Miles Depot Station on December 21st and 22nd, 2019, taking its riders on a one-hour enchanting journey through the Green Mountains of Southern Vermont. Refreshments will be served on decorated trains. Adding to the memories of this holiday ride, Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus will make a surprise visit to provide every child with a special gift. r.k.
