The Bennington Garden Club is hosting Kevin Budris, one of the country’s eminent experts on Zero Waste, at the Manchester Community Library on Thursday, November 13th at 2:00 pm. Budris is the Deputy Director of Just Zero, a non-profit whose mission is to work alongside communities and lawmakers to implement sensible waste policies that provide solutions to escape the damaging impacts of our outdated and unsustainable waste management practices. His presentation will cover the types of policies that can help us move beyond the false choice between burying and burning waste and create legislation that protects public health and the environment.
