And so the ageing year began to die,
And each cold morn the sun grew later still,
And each lamented eve more heavy-lidded

The Western Star–an epic poem, with songs, celebrating the season of Epiphany and the return of the light
A solo storytelling performance in poetry and song, The Western Star evokes a meditative, liminal atmosphere through the rhythms of language and flickering candlelight. The poem is a celebration of light in darkness, the turning of the seasons, and the ever-renewing hope of Epiphany. Come join Trinity Episcopal Church in making the journey of the Three Kings an unforgettably moving community tradition.
