The Slate Valley Scramble is an 8k and half-marathon trail running race on some of VT’s newest and best single & double-track trails on Slate Valley Trails network in Poultney, Vermont. The second annual Slate Valley Scramble will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2021. Trail runners can choose from an 8k and half-marathon, which will be entirely on singletrack and double-track trails here in beautiful southwestern Vermont.

Races will offer runners a well-maintained, variable terrain, wooded course consisting of primarily single-track trail. While both courses will have some flat terrain and rolling hills, there will be hills and a few sustained climbs. Runners will be rewarded with occasional stunning views of Vermont’s “Slate Valley”.
