Green Mountain Academy for Lifelong Learning (GMALL) welcomes arts educator Stacy Gates to lead this creative workshop. If you want to have fun making art, this is the workshop for you. Beginning with a plain wood painting panel, by the end of the class it will be a colorful, dimensional shimmering, faux geode. You will be using clear resin and coloring it with a large variety of materials (acrylic paint, mica and metallic powders, pigment and alcohol inks, and glitter). In addition, you can enhance your design further by adding some crushed glass, colored shells, sand, mini beads and metallic foils to the panel.
