Pastels – Painting Class at SVAC
An event every week that begins at 1:30pm on Monday and Wednesday, repeating until September 24, 2025
SVAC and Georgine welcome those new to the medium as well as more experienced artists. Use still life and reference photographs to explore this highly expressive medium. Some drawing experience recommended.

Materials Needed: Please bring a set of pastels (recommended: Set of Holbein Artists’ Soft Pastel Set, Assorted colors or Blick Studio Pastel, Assorted colors) and a kneaded eraser.
Materials Provided: The instructor will provide paper unless students wish to buy a pad (recommended: Strathmore 400 Series Pastel Paper 18”x24″) and SVAC will supply easels and drawing boards.
