Join award-winning watercolorist Robert O’Brien, AWS, NWS, via Zoom to explore the winter landscape – from the warmth of your home. After a few years of virtual classes, we recognize real benefits in some cases: watercolor demos are easier to see using an online camera than when crowded around a studio table.

This is a two-session workshop, best for those with some watercolor experience. Returning students are welcome (instruction is individualized). Robert will demonstrate on the first day, introducing glazing and layering techniques for the subtle tints of snow. He will emphasize value, composition and painting light and shadow, explaining every step of his painting process. Students will paint on the second day; Robert will provide guidance and a critique at the end of the session.
