5‑Day • Half‑Day Camp • 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM • Grades 4–7

In this hands‑on Sewing & Textile Arts Camp, students will explore the world of sewing, fiber arts, and creative design through a full week of fun, skill‑building projects.

Campers will learn how to safely use a sewing machine, sew a tote bag and fleece beanie, create felt animals, experiment with weaving and textile design, transform old clothing through upcycling, and design their own custom hat and t‑shirt.

Each day introduces new techniques while building confidence, creativity, and problem‑solving skills. By the end of the week, campers will have a collection of finished projects and the foundational skills to continue sewing and creating at home. No prior sewing experience is required.

This camp is being taught by Shondell Dahm, a former teacher and the owner of The Stitch Witch Vermont. With more than 15 years of teaching experience and a career in professional sewing, embroidery, and bag making, she is passionate about helping students learn new skills through creativity and hands-on projects.
