Human Relations Day is a Special Sunday for the United Methodist Church supporting those living in the margins; a way to show compassion, relief, help, charity, generosity, love. Luke 14:13-14 reminds us, “13 But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind. 14 And you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you, for you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous.” In the spirit of Human Relations Day join us as we continue the ministry of Jesus with a united front and help those in the margins by offering a message of hope. “The light that shines farthest shines brightest nearest home.” ~C.T.
