Homeschool Adventure Club: Maple Sugaring at Merck Forest & Farmland Center

This week, the Homeschool Adventure Club will meet at Merck Forest & Farmland Center for a hands-on demonstration of the maple sugaring process. Did you know that maple syrup comes from trees? Learn how to harvest maple sap and turn it into your pancakes’ better half!
Don’t forget to come to the Library on Monday, March 23, for part 2, Sugar Shack Story Time!
MCL Homeschool Adventure Club will take you on a local, educational group adventure in two parts on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month.
Part 1 – The Adventure: Venture out to a local park, business, museum, or other location on an outing led by homeschool parent Abbey Harlow.
Part 2 – What did we learn? Join us in the craft room to extend the adventure and the learning with hands-on activities, read-alouds, and discussions.
MCL Adventure Club is for children in grades K-3 (younger and older siblings welcome!). This program is not a drop-in or a drop-off program. Parent participation is required. Adventures require advance registration.
