Join Grassland Bird Trust (GBT) on Saturday, May 20 for an engaging day with raptors and migrating birds.
The day starts with guided bird walks followed by talks from avian experts, a complimentary lunch and a live raptor demo.
Tickets are $100. Proceeds go towards conserving land in the Audubon designated Important Bird Area (IBA) in Fort Edward and Argyle. The IBA is a rare New York State habitat for rapidly vanishing grassland birds, including Short-eared Owls, Northern Harriers, American Kestrels, Bobolinks and Eastern Meadowlarks.
Raptor Fest will be at Hicks Orchard in Granville NY. Hicks Orchard is spectacular in May and the 2023 Raptor Fest will be memorable for both novice and experienced birders.
Grassland Bird Trust (GBT) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit land trust conserving critical habitat for endangered, threatened and rapidly declining grassland birds.
