As the UN General Assembly concludes its discussions of humanitarian and Sustainable Development Goals, we will provide a discussion from renowned expert on the intersectionality of Climate Change and Humanitarian challenges, Diego F. Osorio. Most refugees come from highly-climate vulnerable countries, that make sustained peace difficult to achieve.
This event is sponsored by Grace Initiative Global, with its community partner the Manchester Community Food Cupboard.
“Diego Osorio is a Fellow in the Weatherhead Scholars Program. He is a diplomat and senior policy advisor on climate security, conflict, and peace for the Government of Canada. He holds a PhD in complexity and institutional design from the University of Utrecht and a Masters in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School.” – harvard.edu
