Green Mountain Academy for Lifelong Learning invites you to learn to weave a classic Nantucket bracelet based on traditional weaving materials and methods used in making Nantucket Lightship Baskets. This calm and rewarding hobby will get you hooked into taking the skill to larger projects requiring molds. In this workshop you will craft two works of wearable art. We are offering two sessions with limited enrollment of six students in each.

Guest Instructor:
Joan Blanchard, who resides in Manchester, Vermont and Scituate, Massachusetts, has had a love of traditional basket weaving for 25 years, the largest basket being a bassinet.

This workshop will take place on Saturday, April 26 from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm at the Blanchard residence in Manchester, VT.
