THE GALLERY AT EQUINOX VILLAGE PRESENTS
“Blind Sight” by Jane-Ann Bachelder Johnson

Manchester, VT – The Gallery at Equinox Village is excited to present an exhibit titled “Blind Sight” by Equinox Village resident, Jane Johnson. A Gallery Opening with the artist, live music performed by Mark LaChac, appetizers and refreshments will be held Thursday, November 20 from 5 – 6 p.m. The Gallery Opening is free and open to the public. The exhibit will remain on display until January 6. The Gallery is open 7 days a week from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and is free to visit.

Jane Johnson states, “My artistic journey began in 2006 with my first art lesson in Sanford, NC, alongside a group of retirees and our incredible instructor, Barbara Berman. She was a talented artist and a natural teacher, especially gifted at identifying each student’s unique strengths. At the time, I entered the well-known Sanford NC Brush and Palette show – novice category, and to my surprise, was awarded a blue ribbon. The judges’ feedback read, “She has a perfectly skewed perspective, but it works, to which my husband replied, “I could have told them that!” They also appreciated my sense of color….
