MCL and Northshire Day School are partnering with Sunrise Family Resource Center to bring free hearing and vision screenings to all children attending playgroup on February 20th.
Periodic vision and hearing screening is recognized as an integral part of preventive pediatric health care. Children use their eyes and ears to pick up new words and to link letters with sounds as they learn to read, but it’s not always easy to tell if they’re struggling. Regular screenings are crucial for identifying and treating issues before they cause delays in learning and development.
