In the early 1960’s folks decided to put on a Blues Festival in Memphis, Tennessee. It was not without its problems as race riots, the killing of Dr Martin Luther King, the KKK were in full swing.
This film not only captures the incredible music of this time, but the times themselves. It’s an important film that you won’t want to miss.
After the film there will be a Q&A with Ms. Palmer via ZOOM.
The film is hosted by the Vermont Blues Society https://www.vermontbluessociety.org/
