Join GNAT-TV at the Manchester Community Library for a screening of the Crowdsourced VT community remake of Matilda! More than 35 teams of amateur filmmakers retell the story of spunky Matilda and her schoolmates banding together to stand up to the tyranny of Principal Trunchbull in true Vermont fashion! Cast members from the GNAT-TV scene will be in the audience, so you can congratulate the stars on their showstopping performances.

Crowdsourced Cinema VT is a statewide creative project, produced by the Media Factory in partnership with an alliance of Vermont community media centers.

Each team (comprised of one or more people) was randomly assigned a scene from the movie Matilda. Teams remade their assigned scenes, using their own costumes, special effects, sounds, and style. After all of the scenes were submitted, the Media Factory put the finishing touches on the film. GNAT-TV is hosting one of many statewide screenings of the finished film!
