Please join us on Saturday, February 8th from
5:00pm-7:30pm for our first ever Chowder Challenge! This event will be held at the Southern Vermont Arts Center in Manchester, VT and will benefit The Dorset Equine Rescue. Sample a variety of locally made chowders from The Dorset Inn, Barrows House, Copper Grouse, Reluctant Panther, Gourmet Deli, Dorset Union Store, North Meadow Farm and many more. Both the Professional Division and the Amateur Division will be judged and there will be first, second and third prize ribbons for both categories. We will also be serving a variety of fresh locally made bread and dessert and there will be a cash bar. The Dorset Equine Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2012. With your continued support we have been able to make a big difference in the lives of equines in need. Since our founding, we have rescued over 130 horses and donkeys. Some of them were headed for slaughter, some of them came to us through law enforcement seizures and some were owner surrenders.
