It’s National Tequila Day on July 24th and Copper Grouse Restaurant & Bar mixologist Patrick Cote-Abel is excited to offer the perfect summertime cocktail to commemorate this special occasion.
It is called the “Spice Up Your Life” and it’s made with Jalapeno infused espolon tequila, orange infused Cointreau and lime juice, and a salt and tajin rim (optional.)
“The spicy jalapeño infused tequila is a spirit with a definite kick,” says Cote-Abel. “Made with fresh jalapeño peppers, this tequila brings the summer heat to this spicy cocktail. Add in the orange flavored Cointreau and this refreshing but peppery cocktail will be your new ‘zest’ friend on National Tequila Day and throughout the rest of the summer.” Guests can enjoy this cocktail inside the restaurant or al fresco, on the restaurant’s porch or patio.
Copper Grouse Restaurant & Bar is located at Kimpton Taconic Hotel, 3835 Main Street, and will be open on Wednesday, July 24th, from 12-2:30pm and 5-8:30pm.
