Girls ages 8 – 17: What are YOU doing this summer? Why not spend a week or two (or more!) dancing, making new friends & having a BLAST with American Dance Training Camps – the ULTIMATE overnight dance camp in the beautiful Sierra Mountains of Stratton, Vermont? Our Vermont home is the Stratton Mountain School, a beautiful, fully accredited boarding academy located a quarter mile from the base of Stratton Mountain Resort. Completed in 1999, the Stratton Mountain School’s state-of-the-art campus is within easy walking distance of Stratton’s charming resort base area. At SMS, hallway blocks are organized by age and ADTC’s staff is housed in rooms on each floor, providing campers with 24-hour supervision & support. Amenities at include community lounges (for doing arts & crafts and hanging out), laundry facilities, and a Dance Canteen for basic supplies, snacks, apparel & souvenirs. ADTC’s dance instructors are members of some of the best national and international studios and performance groups. Our dance instructors are Broadway and MTV performers, finalists from your favorite dance TV shows, collegiate dance team competitors, teachers and even Dance Company members! Many of our dance instructors return year after year. ADTC’s camper-to-counselor ratio is 7:1. In addition to core dance classes in contemporary, hip hop & jazz (styles of jazz vary and may include lyrical, modern or Broadway), you get to choose between ballet, tap or world dance for your core elective dance discipline each week. Campers take at least four dance classes per day, and at week’s end, you get to show off your new moves in a big Friday Night Performance for family, friends and fellow campers. Day camp option is available upon request! Outside of dance, ADTC Stratton, Vermont campers can enjoy awesome activities like horseback riding, kayaking, paintball, trampolines and a trip to the Bromley Thrill Zone for alpine slides, water rides, a zip line, mini golf & more!
