The 2024 Komen Vermont MORE THAN PINK Walk is an annual fundraiser for Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation that brings together survivors, supporters and advocates to raise critical funds to advance Komen’s mission to, “save lives by meeting the most critical needs in our communities and investing in breakthrough research to prevent and cure breast cancer, ” and to provide support for people facing this disease now.
The Vermont MORE THAN PINK Walk is a 2.7 mile, out & back, route that begins and ends at the Northshire Civic Center-Hunter Park. The route travels from Hunter Park via the wooded connector path to Dana Thompson Memorial Recreation Center’s walking path. Water available at the Start, at a hydration station at the Rec Center, and at the Finish.
The community walk course is non-competitive and meant for all-age and abilities. Leashed dogs are welcome.
Registration is free, but fundraising is strongly encouraged. No cost to form a team.
