Weston Playhouse Theatre Company
Discover the Magic of Weston
We will continue to work toward the day when we can all be together again at the theatre. When the threat of Covid-19 recedes, we will open our doors just as soon as possible. Our team is busy working on a variety of dynamic projects that will bring us together for exciting and joyful entertainment. These include readings of brand-new musicals and plays, concerts, and events featuring Weston favorites. As soon as the opportunity arises, we will gather at Walker Farm to celebrate our theatre’s lasting ability to sustain us and bring us together even in the most difficult times.
For 84 years, Weston Playhouse Theatre has flourished as a home for exceptional theatre in an exceptional community. Born during the Great Depression, it has withstood floods, fires, times of war, and hurricanes. We will get through this, too, and when it is over we will come together to share the beauty of live performance in our wonderful town. Stay tuned for future announcements about the exciting projects that will make up our re-imagined 2020 season. We look forward to seeing you in Weston as soon as we can.
If you are able, a donation to the theatre will help support the 2020 reimagination effort during these uncertain times. Click here to donate.

"We've been visiting the Weston Playhouse for 25 years and it just keeps getting better. The productions are top quality, the talent amazing, the staff and community welcoming, and the environment not to be missed. We always enjoy planning a picnic on the green before the shows. Surprisingly few people do this but it's a wonderful way to start the evening if you don't want to go out to dinner. Why go to a big city when you can get top quality theater in a beautiful village in Vermont!"(source)

Weston Playhouse Theatre Company believes in making a significant commitment to the development of new work. Each year Weston hosts Artist Retreats, presents a New Musical Award, and positions groundbreaking and innovative works on its OtherStages. Look for regional and world premieres, and for critically-acclaimed contemporary plays to fill out the intimate second stage roster.
After ten years of hard work by the staff and community, Weston Playhouse has opened its state of the art studio theatre at Walker Farm! This new space is a home for playwrights, directors, composers, and librettists to come and work on new projects in a quiet, rural environment away from the distractions of the city. It will also be available for public and community use: weddings, receptions, meetings, and lectures. And, it will showcase several of the theatre season's major productions!
