Manchester Riverwalk

A New Way to Walk in Manchester

The Manchester Riverwalk is a public pathway through a hidden, wooded glen that runs along the West Branch of the Battenkill River through the heart of downtown Manchester. Entry points to the path can be found at Factory Point Town Green and at Friends of the Sun. The project is managed and maintained by the Manchester Riverwalk Association, a 501(c)3 non-profit group of volunteers committed to creating a compelling recreational and cultural destination.

We have an entrance from the Factory Point Town Green and another entrance near friends of the sun.

We meet the first Monday of almost every month. Location of the meeting varies but feel free to contact us to get on our email list. We have frequent volunteer work days as well.

You can contribute your time and ideas, or donations are gladly accepted either via PayPal, through our website, or by checks made out to Manchester Riverwalk Association, Inc, PO Box 795, Manchester Center, VT 05255.

We plan to work on the designs for a bridge from Main Street to the town green as well as more thorough construction on the trail.
