Located on Main Street in Manchester, Christos’ Pizza & Pasta is a family business dedicated to tradition and delicious food. Flashback to the 1950s, when Vasilios and Garifalia Alexiou worked tirelessly in their Athens bakery to perfect their goods. While successful with the bakery, the hardworking pair looked for new opportunities and in 1967, brought their expertise to Vermont. In 1974, they opened Manchester’s first pizza restaurant.
In 1983, Christos Alexiou followed in his parents’ footsteps and moved from Greece to the Green Mountain State. Together with his wife, he bought a popular Italian restaurant on Main Street in Manchester and renovated it to create the ever popular Christos’ Pizza & Pasta of today.
Their mission is simple: to make the best pizza around and serve it in a warm, welcoming environment. Open for lunch and dinner, the menu includes all the staples, plus pizza crafted with the same dough recipe and passion for cooking that Christos’ parents brought with them from Greece. Not to miss!
