MBA HISTORY/MISSION

In the summer of 2016, a group of local Manchester business owners, residents, and operators met to discuss the current business climate, opportunities, and challenges within the Manchester area business community. In early 2017, the Manchester Business Association (MBA) was officially formed. As a 501 (c)(6) not-for-profit Destination Marketing Organization, its 11-member board established a mission to promote and market the Town of Manchester, Village of Manchester, its member businesses, and the surrounding area.  This continues to be the focus of the MBA and is accomplished through the continued development of its website, www.manchestervermont.com; its robust social media channels, monthly e-newsletters,  other print and digital advertising, promotions, local events as well as collaboration with local, regional and state organizations.
